In 1994, Dr. Amit Gumman started his Ayurveda and Acupuncture practice in Oklahoma City. He quickly realized there were limited options of products from India and US, and was not satisfied with their quality. He could see that for Ayurveda to really take hold in the United States this supply issue would need to be addressed. As Ayurveda gained in popularity, Dr. Gumman increasingly received requests for higher quality Ayurvedic herbs and products. His passion for Ayurveda and serving his patients, for them to recuperate quicker, feel better and live a healthier life led to the foundation of Harmony Nutraceuticals in 2016. Along with his wife Bintee, he launched Harmony Nutraceuticals for the same reason they became health care professionals; to help people achieve and maintain optimal health and well-being.
Amit teamed up with fellow Ayurvedic, Naturopathic, Allopathic Physicians in India and USA. He formed a coalition of organic and bio-dynamic farmers and sustainable harvesters. Pure, fair-traded ingredients are ethically sourced. Harmony’s team of expert scientists, chemists, pharmacists help with synergistic formulations, product development, stringent quality control. We work directly with FDA registered, GMP Certified facilities to process extraction and manufacturing of the products.

Harmony Nutraceuticals was an idea of Dr. Amit Gumman’s, which he started with his wife, Dr. Bintee Gumman in 2016 in Oklahoma City.
Dr. Gumman is also the founder, President and Chief Clinician of Harmony Healing Center, an eminent clinic of Integrative Healing Sciences in North America. This exceptionally active clinical practice in serves thousands of people.
Dr. Gumman has been practicing in Oklahoma City since 1994. His practice and medical training integrates a wide array of therapeutic modalities drawn from Acupuncture, Ayurveda, Herbology, Naturopathy and Yoga. His visions of a state of the art, healing center and now, an ideal Nutraceutical company have come true.
He graduated in Ayurvedic Medicine and surgery from the Government Ayurvedic Medical College, Hyderabad, India. This six-year program included traditional eastern medicine and modern western medicine including surgery leading to licensing for the practice of medicine in India. He also holds a Diploma in Naturopathy and is certified as a Yoga instructor.
Thereafter he completed his Doctorate of Acupuncture and Ph.D. from the International University of Complementary Medicine, Colombo, Sri Lanka. He is a Diplomate of Acupuncture, National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
He completed his Masters of Public Health degree in Health Promotion Sciences from University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and M.D. degree from the University of Health Sciences, Antigua School of Medicine, West Indies.
He was honored with the Dhanawantari Award for outstanding Ayurvedic Practice in North America by the Association of Ayurvedic Professionals of North America.
While in India, he had co-founded Koheda Herbal Estates for cultivation of medicinal herbs and plants.
Dr. Bintee Gumman is the President of Harmony Nutraceuticals and the CEO of Harmony Healing Center.
She obtained her Medical degree from MGM Medical College, Indore and is licensed to practice Medicine and Surgery in India. She is a board certified Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon in India. She worked extensively with Cochlear implant for kids in India, Sri Lanka and Europe.
She got her Diploma in Acupuncture from the International Institute of Integrated Medicine and is certified by the Oklahoma Acupuncture Association.
She works at Harmony healing center as a Holistic health care practitioner. She enjoys cooking and conducts Ayurvedic Nutrition and cooking classes with her husband.
She oversees the day to day operation of Harmony Nutraceuticals, works very closely with her dad, Mr. Ramesh Baldua, a retired banker in India. He co-ordinates with the partners, farmers, facilities, oversees export and quality assurance.
